Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is an exciting individual sport that combines reaching, climbing, balancing, and problem-solving while navigating a climbing wall. Participants will learn basic climbing skills through fun, adapted activities at Armadillo Boulders designed to encourage strength, coordination, confidence, perseverance and active play.

Allstars

This clinic utilizes volunteers to help children develop basic rock climbing skills with direct guidance from the instructor, focusing on climbing techniques, balance, coordination, and confidence.

Division Requirements

  • Must have a disability that limits participation in mainstream sports
  • Does not require extra attention due to any behavioral or sensory diagnosis
  • Can follow directions and stay on task during group activity
