Children explore music and movement through a variety of instruments, rhythms and sounds. The class performs in a music recital at the end of the season. Learn more about scholarships here.
Division Info
Key:Parent & Me
Parents will work 1:1 with their child in this division to have fun learning music skills. Introduces basic music technique and allows for music exploration.
Division Requirements
- Must have a disability that limits participation in mainstream activities
- Parent or guardian must participate with child at each program
Activity Requirements
- Children do not have to be verbal to be successful
Champions
Class focuses on introduction to musical instruments, basic technique and rhythm activities. Unlike other divisions, coaches in the Champions division will take sensory breaks between structured tasks as needed by each class. We strive to provide 1:1 volunteer assistance as musicians work to progress individual skills with direct guidance from our music instructor.

- Requires extra attention due to any behavioral or sensory diagnosis
- Needs help to follow directions and stay on task during group activity

Allstars
Children progress their individual skills with direct guidance from the music instructor who will focus on introducing instruments and teaching songs for a final performance.
Division Requirements
- Must have a disability that limits participation in mainstream sports
- Must be able to follow directions and stay on task during group activity without assistance
- May need help completing activities due to physical needs
