Through the generosity of our donors, you pay only $75 for a seasonal program that actually costs $250/per participant. We never turn away anyone for inability to pay. We provide full and partial scholarships to anyone in need.
Participants in need of financial assistance must apply for a program scholarship every season. To request a scholarship, log in to your registration account at least 2 days prior to the start of registration, click Programs and then click Financial Aid. Once approved, you will be provided a scholarship code to use during registration checkout.
You can help provide scholarships by donating to our memorial scholarship funds established by families who have a loved one who loved Kinetic Kids! Click on their photos to learn more about the impact Kinetic Kids had in their lives and details on how to donate in their memory.
In honor of Lori Velasquez, Harvey E. Najim donated $10,000 to establish the Lori Velasquez Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Lori joined the Kinetic Kids board of directors in 2005 and was a trusted advisor, loyal supporter, and parent of a life-long Kinetic Kid—Daniel. Lori directly impacted the success of Kinetic Kids by being a tireless advocate who shared Kinetic Kids mission with everyone she knew, welcoming new families to Kinetic Kids, providing thoughtful insights only a parent could provide at board meetings, speaking at conferences to inspire other parents and, ultimately, opening doors and avenues for children with disabilities.

Austin Robinson was a Kinetic Kid Champion for 10 years. He participated in many of our programs despite being tethered to medical support equipment. Two programs, in particular, gave him the most enjoyment: gymnastics and martial arts. Austin lost his medical battle in November 2022, and his family established the Austin Robinson Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of his strength, determination and resolve.
