b'GET ACTIVEcollaboration means opportunityKinetic Kids partners with the Believe It Foundation and local school districts to provide special education students with a field day opportunity called Get Active Day. The collaboration means even more kids get off the sidelines! At Get Active Day, our skilled coaches lead four sport stations in baseball, football, soccer and track & field. Modifying the stations as necessary, coaches and volunteers offer students the chance to be athletes for the day as they tackle skills and activities that are oftenfrom pre-K through 12th grade in Lytle new opportunities for the students with special needs.ISD, Harlandale ISD, East Central ISD and In 2021, we held events in the south side of SanEdgewood ISD. At the Boerne ISD Get Active Antonio and in Boerne. The Southside Get ActiveDay, our coaches expertise helped serve 167 Day actually took two days and served 552 studentsstudents with special needs.In just two years, our Gingerbread Workshop has become one of our Kinetic Kids favorite holiday traditions!In December, Kinetic Kids and Central Park Lions Club hosted 40 families outdoors at Hills & Dales Park for a day of constructing gingerbread houses, taking photos with Santa, and enjoying delicious donuts and hot chocolate. Funding was generously provided by Aerial Athletics and Walmart store #228 and the UTSA Womens Soccer team was on hand to help kids build. The weather couldnt have been better and every child walked away with a smile on their face!10'
