Designed for children ages 18 months to 5 years with special needs who are unable to participate in mainstream sports and recreational programs due to a limitation related to their diagnosis. Each participant is partnered with a parent.
For children ages 5-18 who need assistance following directions or staying in line in a group setting. We strive to provide one-on-one assistance for Champions. Common diagnoses: autism, Down syndrome and pervasive developmental disorders.
For children ages 5-18 with a physical disability OR those with developmental disabilities who follow directions in a group setting. Common diagnoses: cerebral palsy, Asperger syndrome, spina bifida, Down syndrome, amputees, hemiplegia and muscular dystrophy.
Allstars ages 11-18 who are able to perform sport acts without one-on-one support.
Allstars ages 7-18 who have a physical disability as their primary diagnosis and are not limited in competition by cognitive impairments.
Allstars ages 7-18 who use walkers or wheelchairs as primary means of mobility. Children must be able to self propel 200’ to safely participate in this program.
Developed for children ages 6-18 who have a physical or intellectual disability, are able to compete without volunteer assistance, possess skill and desire to compete at higher level, and meet sport-specific criteria. Example diagnoses: cerebral palsy, amputees, Asperger’s, Down syndrome, spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders.
The Xtreme sport division is Kinetic Kids’ newest and most competitive division. Programs in this division are designed for athletes with both the skill and the desire to compete at a higher level. Participation in these sports requires sport specific criteria which is listed on the schedule.
